HAND QUILTING with Betsy Henebry

Learn to hand quilt using a traditional feathered heart pattern. Your finished project can be made into a wall hanging or pillow.

You will learn how to hold your hands and needle in order to get those tiny stitches, hide knots and other tricks of the trade.

LANDSCAPE COLLAGE with Anne Walker
Wednesday, July 23, 9 am - 3 pm

Explore landscape design and fabric collage in a full day workshop with art quilter Anne Walker while you create an original fabric landscape. Inspiration for your design can come from a photograph, picture or your imagination. This class will cover design principles and collage techniques, as well as options for finishing as a wall hanging or framing. Design, size and construction methods are the choice of the individual. Class is open to all levels of quilter – machine stitching, hand appliqué and fusing are all options for this project. Supply list will be provided after registration – Threads Galore has lots of new fabrics well suited to this project.
