About Mother and Daughter Quiltworks
Janet Allen and Ann Jones - A wonderful joining of two women who have
spent the better part of their lives teaching people the art of
traditional quilt making. Janet opened her first quilt shop in 1979 in
Sanford, Maine and later moved it to Alfred at The Jordan House Inn. For
many years she was involved in local, state and New England Guilds. Ann
joined her mother in the 1980's and together
formed The Quiltworks, teaching and running retreats throughout Maine.
Both have many women who are always looking for guidance, fun classes and
new projects.
